A/STC 2017
This year's Area 15 ASTC (Adventure/Survival Training Camp) was held from the 3rd of March to the 5th of March. Just like every other year, many of our cadets look forward to the area camp especially our Sec 2 cadets as this will be their first time attending the camp.
Though this year's camp was a little wetter as it was raining almost everyday, was filled with engaging, intuitive, challenging and fun activities which pushes the limits of our cadets. Though there have been many difficult and challenging times throughout the phase of the camp, our cadets manage to persevere and overcome them.
On book out day, despite being tired and exhausted after days of challenging activities and sleepless nights, we could see the satisfaction and joy in the eyes of our cadets when they finally received their A/STC badges.

En route to Pulau Ubin Cadets start the strenuous but adventurous hike to the camp. |
When we were nearing the camp, we met with a flood. As resilient cadets, we passed through the flood without problems.
Finally hiked to Camp Resilience!
Area 15 cadets gather in the canteen of Camp Noordin as they prepare for campfire the next day.
