Beijing Trip Day 5

Without knowing, it is our last full day in Beijing! On Day 5 , we were very privileged to experience heavy snow in Beijing which only occur twice a month. After breakfast we visited the  magnificent Tiananmen square . The roads were very slippery and we were trudging through snow.  Next, we head over to The Forbidden city which is also known as The palace museum. The cadets were able to learn the rich history of China  and its contribution in the modern society ; how china was affected by the revolution . Our students also played snow ball fight  and definitely enjoyed themselves.

Next , we visited the vast National Museum of China to educate about the arts and history of China.

we got to experience taking " MRT " in china . Despite the off peak hour , it is still very packed and crowded. We took three stations to  QingNian Station for supermarket shopping. The way the locals board and alight the train were very similar to Singapore.

Lastly, we had our long awaiting Beijing duck for dinner.
