Campcraft training

Time definitely flies when you're having fun. In a blink of an eye, it's already the last day of our campcraft training for the year 2015! The training took place as usual, without any major hiccups. However, all of us strived and did our best as it was the last training that we will be having this year, and everyone would want to end it smoothly. As compared to the other usual trainings, this training was extremely beneficial as we had drastically improved in both our timing and quality of work. Also, with the help from our seniors, cadet inspectors and our teachers, we were able to learn and gain much more insights and skills from them. Although some of us were injured from either rope burns, cuts or blisters, we still managed to pull it off and endure till the very end of the training and even produced marvellous results. I have to say that all of us had put in much effort for the all the trainings so far and this round was the best. The last round that we had was really an eye-opener as we have improved a lot from the previous rounds. We always thought we could not improve so much, and were incompetent to achieve such result. Seems like we have proved ourselves wrong. Albeit it was not an easy task, but everyone worked swiftly and at the same time, we had to maintain the quality of of our work. All of us communicated, helped and looked out for each other. Team spirit is an important aspect of campcraft and it is necessary for us to achieve in order to succeed and achieve better results and greater heights. Our seniors, CIs and teachers were impressed, having to see such a significant improvement from us. There's no doubt that we had enjoyed ourselves in this training as it was very comforting to know that we are competent of doing it. Last but not least, we would all like to thank our caring seniors, CIs and teachers for spending so much time guiding us through the trainings we had.
